Medicine BagsMedicine bags hold sacred items that help remind the wearer of their true identity and serve as a source of protection and guidance for the wearer. These sacred items are personal to the wearer and range from tobacco or herbs for ceremonial use, as well as crystals and fetishes that infuse their spiritual strength and power.
In this workshop, participants will create a small (approximately 2” x 1.5”)medicine bag from ethically sourced deerskin and lace to wear around the neck and over heart. Beads, charms, and natural objects are provided to adorn the bag. Participants are welcome to bring their own adornments as well. Just remember, whether it’s an adornment or an item that goes in the pouch, the smaller, the better! We’ll end with a blessing ceremony. Workshop limited to four participants. Facilitator: Lorraine Woerner Date: Saturday, December 13, 2025 Time: 1–5 PM Cost: $100, includes materials Location: Address given upon registration Email Lorraine for more information |
